About Me
Charlie got to rip out one of my piercings today, well almost rip out one of them. She’s like Crouching Baby, Hidden Diaper - she snuck up on me then BAM! she grabs my nose and pulls on the stud in my nose. It almost came out, but didn’t, but that doesn’t mean it didn’t hurt - I’ve only had it done for a week so its still a little ouchy.
I thought she’d be used ...

About Me
After being tagged by two mumspacers (that I know of) - madmadmummy and gillygirl - I figure the pressure is on to explain to the world why I have a mumspace. I could go on and on, delve into complicated (and ultimately boring) explanations, but instead I thought I’d sum it up in three good reasons…
1. Its cheaper than a therapist
2. Noone cares if I’m doing it naked, and
3. Charlie can’t rip up ...

i just discovered the best thing since sliced eBay…
It’s called Oztion, and yes I’ve just discovered it. It’s basically the same as eBay except it’s an Australian company, its FREE to list things to sell (and you only pay a VERY small fee when it sells) and its got a great community there, everyone seems really great. Check it out if you haven’t already, and if you’ve already discovered it then comment and tell me what your user ID is and what ...

Nappy Rash
I never, ever thought it would happen to me. I thought it was the stuff of bad sitcoms and movies starring Steve Martin. But it happened… not just once, but twice. And I can say without doubt that it was the most sickening, horrible, disgusting, dry-retch-inducing thing that can ever happen to a mother. Here’s the story…
The other night Charlie had just had her after-dinner bottle and was settling down on my chest to go ...

About Me
Being a good mum is something I never thought I would live up to. An only child, I’ve always been notoriously selfish. It’s all about me, you know? So I really suprised myself the other day when I caught myself thinking, "you know what Emma? I think you’re a really good mum." That may sound ‘up myself’ but I’m not here to self-depricate continously just so people can comment and say "don’t be silly, you’re ...
shave for a cure
My husband Khris is shaving his head this year for the World’s Greatest Shave, to raise money to support those affected by leukaemia. He’s trying to raise $1,000 by Saturday the 17th March, but it’d be great if he can raise more - your donations online go directly to the Leukaemia Foundation and sponsorship donations over $2.00 are tax deductible - so please help out if you can!
If you’d like to help out, you can ...
you gotta start somewhere..

About Me
Hurro. I’m Emma. I found mumspace.net via the Business Mums web site and thought I’d try it out. Never one to be great at journalling my thoughts, this should be interesting! Anyway, a bit of background information.. I’m 24 years old and the mother of a cheeky rascal called Charlotte. She’s nine months old. I’ve been married to my husband Khris for 3 years. He’s pretty cool.
More later…
